Flags structured data values that don't match visible page content.
This check compares the values in your structured data (prices, ratings, dates, names, descriptions) against what's actually visible on the page. Google requires that structured data accurately represents visible content — it should not contain information that is not displayed to users.
Google's guidelines explicitly state that structured data must reflect visible page content. Mismatches between schema and visible content can be considered misleading and may result in manual actions (penalties) or loss of rich result eligibility.
Inconsistent structured data can trigger manual review, resulting in loss of rich results or, in severe cases, a manual action penalty. At minimum, Google may simply ignore the mismatched structured data.
